RTPrimerDB [RTPrimerDB]
The Real-time PCR Primer and Probe Database (RTPrimerDB) provides a free online resource for published real-time quantitative PCR assays and an in silico assay evaluation pipeline for custom assays. It contains almost 8000 empirically validated real-time PCR assays. The in silico assay evaluation pipeline enables users to discriminate good from poor performing assays based on the position of the primers in the target sequence, BLAST specificity search, presence of Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms, and absence of amplicon secondary structures.
