Once you acquired a premium license, you are entitled to use that version of the software indefinitely. A basic license on the other hand ends after one year. Both license types also come with 12 months of upgrade protection, meaning that you are entitled to download and use all new versions within 12 months from download. For premium licences you can buy an additional one-year upgrade and support subscription (SUSS) for a fraction of the full-license cost.

 

3. Can I try before I buy?

Yes, you can request a free trial license using your personal mybiogazelle account. A trial license key unlocks all functionalities of a premium qbasePLUS license for 15 days.

4. What happens with my data after my trial license expires?

A trial license key unlocks all functionalities of a premium qbasePLUS license for 15 days. After this period, qbasePLUS will shut down. Subsequent installation of a payable premium license allows you to fully recover all your data and continue to enjoy all benefits from qbasePLUS. Installation of a payable basic license will not allow you to recover all results.

5. How to order qbasePLUS?

Orders are made online using our secure webshop. You need to log in to your private mybiogazelle acccount, and navigate using the left menu to 'my purchases' and 'buy new item'. Fill in the required information to place an order. Your order will be verified by our purchase department, after which you will receive an official quotation containing all details. You will be asked to confirm your order before we validate your purchase and provide you with the official invoice. A license key is sent after payment is verified.

6. Is there a Mac version?

Sure. Biogazelle has a qbasePLUS version for all major computer operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows, Mac and Linux.

7. On how many computers can I use qbasePLUS?

You need an individual license for each computer. The installation ID generated by the software is unique and specific for a given computer. Once you acquired a premium license, you are entitled to use that version of the software indefinitely. A basic license on the other hand ends after one year. Both license types also come with 12 months of upgrade protection, meaning that you are entitled to download and use all new versions within 12 months from download. We recommend to buy an additional one-year upgrade and support subscription (24 months in total). We can also offer dongle-key solution for non-simultaneous use of a single license on different computers.

8. How to get support?

If you need specific information, or run into a problem, first check the manuals explaining the most important features. There is also a quick guide to get you started if you are a new user. All documents can be found in the support section. Alternatively, browse through the Frequently Asked Support Questions. If all fails, use the dedicated Support form that is available from your personal 'my support' page after logging in to your mybiogazelle account. Customers with a premium license get premium support.
